Drone Video: The China Threat
The world’s most popular consumer and commercial drones are made by DJI (Da Jiang Innovations), and now there is concern over a “vulnerability” in an app that controls them.
Cybersecurity researchers believe that the app collects an extensive amount of personal data that could be exploited by Beijing.
According to The New York Times, hundreds of thousands of consumers use the suspected app on Google’s android system.
These security concerns prompted the Pentagon to ban the use of DJI drones and the Interior Department to ground its DJI fleet.
DJI says this is all about politics.
Greylock Digital Media can provide your drone footage and let you leave the security headaches to us.

Final Thoughts
“Digital storytelling is a particularly effective strategy to create a strong and consistent place identity... as it allows greater reach and interaction with target audiences, creating proximity and familiarity that is expected to enhance positive achievements. If a story has enough appeal and interest, it can spread through social media and potentially be shared around the world, becoming viral (Clara & Barbosa, 2021, p. 80).
With the right storytelling skills, the stories’ potential spread and reach on social media can result in influencing millions of people (Lund et al., 2018, p. 273).
Overall, this strategy gives great power to brands to improve connections with their consumers (Singh & Sonnenburg, 2012, p. 189).

Communicate More Effectively
11 hours per week!
That’s how much time the average professional spends reading and answering email
How about your inbox?
If you get 120 emails every day, each one averaging three short paragraphs…
It takes 20 seconds to read each paragraph…
That means one minute per email, or two hours a day – just to read them.
If every email was one paragraph shorter, you’d save 40 minutes per day!
When you send an email, remember that shorter is better
Three Big Tips to Write an Email That Prompts Action
1. Less is More:
A survey request was sent to 7000 school district leaders
A 127 word request generated a response rate of 2.7%
A 49 word request generated a response rate of 4.8%
(Research from EveryDayLabs)
2. Keep it Simple
Write at an eighth-grade level
The ideas can be complex, but the language needs to be simple and clear
More than 40% of adults in the United States have limited literacy
